Hi everyone,
I'm wondering whether I may be pushing my luck subscribing, but I'm conscious of three things:
1. Blogs have been the way of web world for ages;
2. I need to get on board somehow;
3. and the website below - while not a blog - encompasses many of the progressive themes presented and argued within this community.
Our site publicises a health and social care model - Hodges' Health Career - Care Domains - model - originally developed in community mental health and learning disability. As such human rights, advocacy, equity and access to care services, social networks and informatics lie at the heart of the model.
The model has universal potential because many of the problems we face require novel, interdisciplinary even transdisciplinary approaches. One problem I have is time, many people are impressed with the idea of care (knowledge) domains and our links, but 'information does not of course make instruction' so lots to do...
Hi.Just recently hooked up with PBA HQ.Iam living in the Vancouver area of British Columbia Canada.Read the mutterings of a left-wing "lunitic".Obviously biased and hopelessly "idealist".Check out my blog "A Class act", http://canadared.blogspot.com/
Our new website: http://www.shamelesspublicity.com was designed to cover the publicity hounds in US entertainment and politics.
So whether you live in the US or just interested in what's going on here, especially with humor and not anger being the vehicle, I hope you check us out and pass along our link!

(We don't waste time fact-checking)
July 26. The GOP Senate leader backed by the White House ended debate on the Defense Bill and moved a bill sponsored by the National Rifle Association to the floor.Â
Of course all Democrat and this time several Republican Senators have protested noting that this means the Defense Bill will not be debated and passed prior to the Senate's Summer break. The bill would prohibit lawsuits against the firearms industry for damages resulting form the unlawful use of a firearm or ammunition.
Now I am actually in favor of the bill sponsored by the NRA actually. I support private ownership of guns - got a few myself too.
Here was my blogging objective today:WRITE A SHORT STORY, A PBA ADVENTURE, IF YOU WILL: using the PBA's blogs titles in it...ready for the real deal?
I just thought I'd take up a few moments of everybody's time to say hello, and thanks for having me on the team. I'm writing from England, but I still find time to slate Republicans every once in a while. I'm particularly interested in the role of the church and its ever increasing power. As an atheist, I'm getting more and more worried that the division between politics and religion is becoming less defined. I'm also interested in New Age charlatans, such as fake mediums, fortune tellers, and faith healers. In short, I have a problem with anybody who exploits "beliefs" to make money or gain power over others.
may i use my new powers for good...never for evil.
